My wee smells. I have been eating asparagus. Enough said.
This morning I was taken, kicking and screaming, to see "Failure To Launch".

I am horrified to report that as romantic comedies go it is pretty good and deserves a look. I laughed a lot. True, Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker can probably do this kind of stuff standing on their heads, and I doubt it will feature very highly in next years critical lists, but Lorraine and I enjoyed it and in the end that is all that matters.
"Failure To Launch" also features the lovely Zooey Deschanel. A good enough excuse for a picture, methinks.

Hot or not? Hot.
We wandered around town. We ate at Caffe Uno. We went home. While Lorraine did some work on the computer I cleaned the house and cooked. We watched "Oceans Twelve" (which I thought was good, if overly elaborate). We are about to go to bed because we have an early start tomorrow. We are going to Golders Green to visit Lorraine's Aunt Zelda. It's a day out! Hurrah!

I have been dying to see Failure to Launch! Now I can show Greg your review and he will take me to see it at night. Normally I have to see a movie like that during the day by myself, but when he reads a good review from you on a movie that he thinks might suck, he suddenly doesn't mind taking me at night.
Now STOP EATING ASPARAGUS!

That Zooey Dashenel is quite striking. She has what I like to refer to as "no effort hot" in that photo, and that's the best kind.
I thought "Oceans Twelve" was pretty piss-poor, to be honest, and I absolutely *loved* "Oceans Eleven". It was like a less believable episode of "Hustle".
sigh.
They are doing an "Oceans Thirteen" as well, apparently.

an endorsement for the DVD sleeve perhaps?

No no no no no. "Failure To Launch" is funny. Really it is.
I wouldn't steer you wrong now, would I? I'm the man who told you how good "The Pacifier" was. Don't you remember?
