It looks like Lorraine will not be going south next week, after all. Apparently she mentioned her intention to one of her family, and now everybody is going to be descending on her Brother's house to coo over his twins. Lorraine does not do competition with her family, so that is the end of that.
We are still having the week off after Easter. I asked Lorraine what she would like to do next week. I suggested maybe a London trip to catch a matinee show? Maybe do the tourist thing? Go to Manchester or Sheffield for the day? Do something around the house? She said, "I don't want to do anything. I am too tired. I am tired of everything."
I don't suppose I am helping much.
Too tired myself, now. My day. Sleep. Get up. Go to work. Suffer incredible rudeness from customers and indifference from managers and some of the other teams. Go home. Overeat. Watch TV. Argue with Lorraine about sex. Wonder how we got into such a state, when even just a couple of years ago we could not keep our hands off each other. Mutual lack of effort? Get on the computer. Go to Sleep.

I expect the weather doesn't help. If it was anything like it was here on the south coast, that is. Cheer up. You could go to a spa for the day for some pampering...maybe?
Sounds to me like what you want to do is get some cheap flights to somewhere warm and spend a few days doing nothing in the warmth of Spain or somewhere.
Going to London is expensive and not relaxing or recuperative. Going to Murcia or Malaga or somewhere wouldn't cost you any more and might do the trick at relieving the stress.
Just a thought.
