Interesting evening. I have
  1. Cooked food. (Lamb shanks and vegetables. It was OK.)
  2. Eaten food.
  3. Washed up
  4. Mopped the kitchen floor
  5. Watched "C. S. I. Crime Scene Investigation" (Faye Dunaway looks like she has had a lot of plastic surgery)
  6. Purchased "Where The Truth Lies" (brilliant, atmospheric, weird, erotic mystery - one of my favourite films of last year)
  7. Purchased "Green Wing" series 1 (godlike genius)
  8. Purchased "The West Wing" series 3 (ditto)

while Lorraine sat in the living room all night and prepared for a customer visit that she is undertaking tomorrow. She will not be back until late tomorrow evening.

It's no life, is it?

Comments:
That all depends on what you want out of your life: peaceful domesticity or a thrilling roller-coaster ride. Personally, I'd take a little of both right now.

Last night I watched the Villareal vs Arsenal match, played some Pro Evo on PS2, played online poker and lost, and went to bed late.

ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!

Faye Dunaway has had a lot of surgery. Creepy!

You're living the dream, man! All those DVDs? Conspicuous consumption, it's what we all work for surely?!

Or is it just something we do to take our mind of the crap we spend most of our lives doing? I keep forgetting.

Hmm... Living the dream.

Spending too much time watching and not enough time doing, if you ask me.
