I have been buying flowers for Lorraine's cousin Renee. She went into hospital yesterday for a surgical procedure on her breasts as her regular mammogram found something that needed further examination. Renee said that everything is fine, but she is not the kind of woman who would necessarily say anything if everything wasn't fine. Lorraine has been a bit preoccupied. Flowers are the least I could do. I only found out about it today.

I'm sure that everything will be fine.

Gig tomorrow. The Cosmic Rough Riders at the Birmingham Academy. I may be back tomorrow night. If I'm not, I'll be back on Thursday. I have the rest of the week off.
