Yesterday I went to see "Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction".

It's terrible. Really shit. Very bad. A true stinker and a huge disappointment. (I liked the original "Basic Instinct" very much.) It's a disgrace to the memory of the original.
The prologue was good (Stan Collymore looking cool and wasted and...er... drowning) and the epilogue was good (strange and ambiguous and a psychotic fantasy, perhaps?). It is just a crying shame about the celluloid shambles inbetween. Bad, bad dialogue, clunky plotting and an uninvolved and remote performance by Ms. Stone (was she sleepwalking her way through the part?) If you intend to see it for the sex, the best stuff didn't even involve Sharon Stone. (Take a bow Flora Montgomery who was hot!) More importantly it was a waste of good actors like David Morrissey and David Thewlis.
Nothing else to say on that subject.
I am going out with my Brother on Thursday evening. It will follow whatever happens at Orville and Vicky's leaving do. I have promised Lorraine that I will not get smashed out of my head, but that is going to depend on how the Vicky leaving bit goes. I cannot help it. It is the way I feel. It's not easy to just switch off emotions.
Lorraine and I have got the week off after the Easter holiday. She is thinking of going to see her folks down south for a couple of days. I won't be going. I will be looking after Moon the Cat. It's not good. What am I going to do with myself all week? Watch films? Masturbate? Drink myself senseless? Probably.

Check out Lucky Number SLevin if you get the chance; nothing earth shattering, but it was original at least. I dug it.
If Vicky's leaving do is going to be emotional for you, you really shouldn't get wasted... That way lies aggro I suspect.
You've got a week off to look after the cat? Is it in intensive care?

I saw Sharon Stone the other week on the tellybox and have to say that I thought it looked absolutely nothing like Sharon Stone.
Weird.
Weird.
We got "Lucky Number Slevin" in British cinemas about 6 weeks ago. Poor reviews, in the main, but I liked it.
I though that "Hannibal" was OK. A bit camp, but not terrible.
Moon the Cat has severe diabeties and has regular injections. I wasn't having the week off for him, particularly. I just did not want to be at work without Lorraine. I hate going to that place.
Ms. Stone has had surgery, I heard...
